5 Year Limited Warranty for Bathtub Refinishing and Repair

We stand behind our workmanship. If a refinished surface fails due to application or adhesion issues within the warranty period, we inspect it and repair the affected area at no charge.

What This Warranty Covers

This limited warranty applies to refinishing and repair work completed by Texas Tub and Tile at the original service address.

  • Peeling caused by workmanship issues
  • Adhesion failure of the applied coating
  • Surface breakdown caused by improper application process

Most refinished surfaces can last well beyond the warranty period when the finish is cared for correctly.

What Is Not Covered

This warranty does not cover damage caused by use, maintenance issues, or conditions outside our control.

  • Bath mats, suction mats, or adhesive products on the refinished surface
  • Abrasive pads, powdered cleaners, harsh chemicals, or bleach-heavy products
  • Standing water or constant dripping from faucets and plumbing leaks
  • Impact damage from dropping heavy or sharp objects
  • Damage caused by plumbing failures, flooding, or structural movement
  • Normal wear from improper cleaning or lack of routine care

Conditions That Void Warranty

The warranty may be void if the refinished surface is exposed to avoidable conditions known to damage coatings.

  • Leaving suction-cup mats or adhesive materials on the surface
  • Allowing continuous water drip onto the finish
  • Using unauthorized cleaning products
  • Failure to maintain caulking around edges where water intrusion can occur
  • Third-party modifications or repairs after completion

Care and Maintenance Requirements

Proper care is the biggest factor in finish life.

  • Use only non-abrasive, pH-neutral cleaners
  • Use a soft sponge or microfiber cloth
  • Rinse soap residue after use and keep the surface dry when possible
  • Do not leave bottles, soaps, or metal objects sitting on the surface long-term
  • Fix leaking faucets promptly
Important: Keep this care guidance for your records. Warranty review may require proof that proper maintenance steps were followed.

How Warranty Claims Work

  1. Email us with your name, project address, and clear photos of the issue.
  2. We review the photos and may schedule an on-site inspection.
  3. If the issue is covered, we repair the affected area at no cost.

Warranty service is limited to repair of the refinished area. This warranty does not include replacement of plumbing fixtures, demolition, or reimbursement for third-party work.
